Interior Designer - Atlanta
This position is with Cal Engineering Solutions and will be working primarily on Archie Bolden projects.
Archie Bolden is a multidisciplinary Architecture & Design firm seeking a talented interior designer to join their Atlanta office. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia with over 25 staff across 4 offices worldwide, Archie Bolden works across the commercial and residential sectors, completing projects in both the USA and Australia. Established 5 years ago, Archie Bolden is a young, contemporary, enthusiastic, and is growing quickly.

Position Profile:
The primary role of the Interior Designer is to design and manage all aspects of an interior design project from conception to completion. This position requires someone with positivity, high-energy, a creative eye and a passion for the design industry. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience and be professional, organized, efficient, and ambitious, as well as creative. This role will work alongside our architecture and drafting teams on multiple projects at a time in various phases while balancing priorities and schedule changes. This position is client facing and requires excellent communication skills due to daily communications with clients, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Creation, preparation, and presentation of interior design concepts

Development of the interior design concept via 3D renders, produced in house with our graphics team

Sourcing, selection and specification of finishes, fixtures, and fittings

Sourcing, selection and specification of furniture, objects, and accessories

Review of drawings and specifications to ensure a high level of accuracy, innovation, and attention to detail

Monitoring of the project to ensure deliverable dates are being achieved

Presentation of designs to the client along with physical material samples

Communicating design changes to the architectural and drafting teams

Review and markup of construction documents

Attend and actively participate in site meetings during all phases of the project

Participate in the industry including awareness of trends, new products, and regulations

Candidate must have a design eye and ability to work on multiple projects at a time

Candidate must be able to quality control their own work for completeness and accuracy, taking pride in their work and their output

Coordinate and lead decoration installations on site

During construction, review shop drawings and respond to RFPs and submittals from the GC

Personal & Professional Skills:
-
Bachelor's degree in interior architecture or interior design
-
5 years minimum experience in an interior architecture or interior design role
-
Excellent time management, communication, collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Strong leadership skills, and the ability to delegate work to the drafting team and design assistants
-
Communication skills, poise, and confidence; capable of presenting to senior business leaders and executives
-
Have a friends, positive, and engaging personality

Experienced user of Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, and Microsoft
-
Posses a strong eye for aesthetics and interest in creative industries that expand the company's creative output

Salary Range:
$60,000 - $70,000 annually
